This HP EliteBook is a refurbished 14-inch laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It brings together a substantial memory allocation and solid-state storage in a compact screen size, making it a considered option for people who regularly work with documents, browser tabs, email, online services and everyday applications. Windows 11 Pro has been installed, so the machine is prepared for its next owner.

The specification matters because 16GB of RAM gives more room for several applications to remain open at once than a basic-memory laptop, while the 256GB SSD provides responsive storage for Windows, programs and files. Its 1920 x 1080 display offers Full HD resolution on the 14-inch screen, and AMD Radeon Graphics handle the laptop's visual output through integrated graphics. This is a straightforward portable computer for home administration, study, web-based work and general day-to-day use.

Detailed Description

Processor and memory: The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U is paired with 16GB of RAM. In practical terms, that combination gives everyday users useful breathing room when moving between a web browser, email, office documents, video calls and web applications. The 16GB memory capacity is particularly helpful for keeping multiple browser tabs and applications open while working through ordinary tasks.

SSD storage: A 256GB SSD is fitted for the operating system, installed software and personal files. Solid-state storage has no moving parts, and it helps Windows and applications load from storage without the delays associated with older mechanical hard drives. The available capacity should be considered when storing large photo libraries, videos or extensive local files, but it provides a practical foundation for a focused everyday setup.

Screen and graphics: The 14-inch display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, commonly known as Full HD. This gives a clear workspace for documents, spreadsheets, browsing and streaming. AMD Radeon Graphics are integrated graphics rather than a separate dedicated graphics card. They are intended for everyday display work, video playback and lighter visual tasks, with game performance depending on the particular title, settings and resolution.

Windows 11 Pro: Windows 11 Pro has been installed as part of preparation. That means the laptop is set up with the confirmed operating system rather than being supplied without one. The combination of Windows 11 Pro, 16GB RAM and SSD storage makes this machine well suited to people who want a compact laptop for organised digital tasks without requiring a large-screen desktop replacement.

What It Is Good For

This configuration is best matched to practical everyday computing where a 14-inch Full HD screen, ample memory and SSD storage are useful.

Suitable Games

AMD Radeon Graphics in this laptop are integrated rather than dedicated graphics. They are better suited to lighter and older games at sensible settings than graphics-intensive titles. Performance varies by game, settings and resolution.

Lighter games with modest graphics requirements
Older games that do not require dedicated graphics hardware
Indie games with lower system requirements
Strategy and turn-based games with modest visual demands

Condition & Refurbishment

This is a refurbished laptop, carefully prepared for its next owner. Windows 11 Pro has been installed, and the laptop was cleaned, tested and prepared by The Nerd Herd.

There are gentle signs of previous use, including light scratches and scuffs to the exterior. The screen has a few keyboard marks, which are confirmed cosmetic marks from previous use.

Important functional note: the camera lags on start-up. This is a confirmed issue and should be considered if you expect to begin video calls immediately after opening a camera application.

Battery diagnostic health is reported at 77%. Battery runtime varies with settings, workload and use.

Every device includes a 90-day warranty. Register your device after setup to extend your warranty to one year.
