The Asus VivoBook is a compact 14-inch Windows laptop built around a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. That combination gives it a practical foundation for everyday computer use without relying on a mechanical hard drive: the SSD provides responsive storage for Windows, applications and personal files, while 8GB of memory gives the system room for typical day-to-day multitasking.

Its 1920 x 1080 Full HD screen provides a sharper workspace than a lower-resolution display, with space for documents, web pages and video. Windows 11 Pro is installed, so the laptop is ready for its next owner to set up. Please read the condition information carefully: this is a used and refurbished machine with clear cosmetic wear, including marks to the screen and minor cracks to the screen bezel. These screen and bezel marks are confirmed as cosmetic and do not affect use.

Detailed Description

The Intel Core i5-1035G1 is a 10th-generation Intel processor. Paired with 8GB RAM, it is suited to the everyday work that makes up much of home, study and office use: working in documents, handling email, researching online, managing files and keeping several ordinary applications or browser tabs open. The stated specification is the important part here: this is a 10th-generation i5 system with 8GB memory, rather than an entry-level configuration with limited RAM.

The 256GB SSD is the laptop's internal storage for Windows 11 Pro, installed applications and your own files. Solid-state storage has no moving disk mechanism, and it is well suited to routine tasks such as starting Windows, opening applications and accessing saved work. Storage needs vary, so buyers planning to keep a large local collection of photos, videos or games should consider the 256GB capacity before purchase.

The 14.0-inch Full HD display offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, useful for viewing documents, browsing, streaming video and working with more on-screen detail than lower-resolution panels. Intel UHD graphics are integrated graphics, meaning they are built into the processor rather than being a separate dedicated graphics card. They are intended for normal display output, video playback and everyday visual tasks, not as a dedicated-graphics setup.

What It Is Good For

With its 10th-generation i5 processor, 8GB RAM, SSD storage and Full HD screen, this VivoBook is a sensible match for everyday computing where portability and a straightforward Windows setup matter.

Writing assignments, reports, letters and other documents
Email, web browsing and online research
Managing household files, photos and downloaded documents
Watching streamed video on a 1920 x 1080 display
Video calls and online learning
Using Windows applications for routine home, study or administrative tasks
Working with several everyday applications at once within the limits of 8GB RAM

Suitable Games

Intel UHD is integrated graphics, not a dedicated graphics card. It is better suited to lighter and older games at sensible settings than graphically intensive titles. Performance varies by game, settings and resolution, and no specific frame-rate result is promised.

Lighter games with modest graphics requirements
Older games designed for less demanding hardware
2D and indie-style games where lower graphical settings are appropriate
Strategy games with modest visual demands, subject to each game's requirements

Condition & Refurbishment

This is a refurbished laptop. It has scratches, scuffs and marks on the exterior, with worn edges. The keys, trackpad and palm rest also show signs of previous use. The screen bezel has multiple minor cracks. The screen has multiple pressure marks and visible keyboard marks, but these are purely cosmetic and do not affect use. Please consider this disclosed cosmetic condition before purchasing.

The confirmed record states that Windows 11 Pro has been installed. No component repairs, upgrades or replacements are recorded. It was cleaned, tested and prepared by The Nerd Herd.

Every device includes a 90-day warranty. Register your device after setup to extend your warranty to one year.
